During this series, I will be interviewing some of my favorite investors, but instead of talking about the investment industry, they are going to share their thoughts and ideas about investing in the family. My first guest in this series is Chris DeMuth. If you’ve listened to the show for a while, then you already know that we have spoken with Chris on the show before.
For those of you who may be new to the show, I am honored to introduce you to Chris, who is one of my favorite investors in the industry and the founder of the successful investment firm, Rangeley Capital LLC. Rangeley Capital, LLC. specializes in “event-driven, value-oriented investment opportunities.” Before he began the company, Chris worked as a security analyst for hedge funds and propriety trading with a special focus on corporate event risks and timing.
Today, Chris shares his wisdom on being a dad, and why he feels that investing in his family overall is critical to his success as an investor.
